Only days away!

Almost July!
I can't imagine how much my life will be changing in the next few days. I am only 8 days away from my due date and I expect our little girl to be arriving sooner than that, well at least I hope. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and I am so ready to meet Moriah. It feels like forever since I have been mommy to a new baby and I can't wait to experience it all over again. I watch baby shows all the time, but on;y when pregnant, and I love the moment when the mom hears the baby's cry fr the first time,I always cry. Alana and Noah are so ready for this to be over, I can tell. Although, they have been so great these last few weeks. Its difficult for me to do much of what I normally did. Laundry, dishes, vacuuming...all these things just hurt right now so they try and help as much as they can and if its something they can't help with, then it just doesn't get done until Gregg gets home.
Noah turned 5 on June 21!!! It was a great day, a hot day, but a great one.We had friends and family over to the house on that Saturday and had cake and the kids all swam and played in the sprinkler...even Gregg played, he is such a kid at heart. Noah got new cowboy boots which I think was his favorite present...he LOVES boots. He also got a lot of great summer water toys which he plays with almost daily. He loves being five, even though he thought he was going to automatically be bigger the day he turned five. He also loves to kiss my belly, he is going to be the best big brother I am so excited for him to meet the baby. Most people think he is so rough but he has the sweetest spirit I have ever see.

Noah at about 3 months Noah 5 years old

Alana went to art camp and still has two softball games but our busy summer is just about done. Right now I have two 5 year olds...Alana will be 6 in a few days and she isn't all that thrilled that this new baby might be messing up her birthday party plans. I told her she could have a slumber party and their is no way that's not happening. I figure if baby is here by her birthday I'll be up anyways why not have a few 6 year old girls thrown on the mix. She surprised me by being as apprehensive as she is about the baby coming, I thought since she was use to having the little brother that the little sister wouldn't bother her but on several occasions she has mentioned that she is afraid no one will pay her any attention because we will all be to bust with Noah and Moriah. I guess she is losing the innocence that Noah still has and doesn't believe that it will all be ok. We are trying to reassure her that the new baby isn't going to be all that great. She is just going to eat, sleep, poop, and cry. That seems to make her feel better because she thought we were just going to spend all our time holding, kissing, and loving on Moriah. I feel bad, we kinda threw Moriah under the bus before she is even here to make Alana feel better but I am confident that it will all work out in the end. She starts 1st grade before long...can you imagine. I can't.

We went to the park Sunday after church and took some pictures...Alana and Noah have their pictures done every year while they are the same age, these are thier 5 year old pictures.

Its GO Time People

Just another quick update-
I'm supposed to be getting ready for ball games tonight but haven't posted in so long I feel like I have so much to say.

It is getting close to GO time. I am 37 weeks which is considered full term, but that only applies if you actually have the kid...
I went into labor about a week ago but the Dr. said "no mam" and stopped my contractions with what can only be explained as acid and speed mixed together. Had the worst medicine trip ever in the hospital that night. Contractions did stop though so however that crazy medicine works...it worked.
went to the Dr 4 days...yes 4 days later and he said "OK you can have the baby whenever now, I won't stop it." I said...excuse me, 4 days. I went through that for 4 more days. Actually I didn't say anything because I love my Dr. and trust him. Although I was frustrated. I know now I will go 40 weeks, its just my luck.
Had a 3D ultrasound, it was so cool. She looks like a Roberts, my maiden name, the nose and lips, even her sumo wrestler mad face. I am ready to meet her that's for sure.

As for the rest of the crew, they are good. Softball keeps us pretty bust and Alana is proving to be more of a ball player than I ever was. She went to a little mini camp a few weeks back and enjoyed it. She also spends lots of time in the pool and on the computer. She is going to art camp this week, today was the first day but she said she likes it so far. Noah said it was boring..I reminded him he didn't go.

Speaking of wild man he will be 5 on Sunday. Oh my I can't believe it! We are having his party Saturday at our house...feel free to come if you can. He has been in the pool everyday and is already one tan little man. He had one accident and fell backwards off the pool ladder has a nice bruise on his back but didn't seem to cause any permanent damage.
They are both excited for Moriah to be here, we will see how long that lasts. Hopefully my next blog we will have baby...

I know I know...bad blogger

OK Puerto Rico was amazing! It is such a beautiful country and so super clean. We had an amazing time and since so much has happened in the month since my last post I'll spare you all the details and just hit the main points.

Traveling was an experience, all our flights were delayed for some reason and we ended up traveling for over 12 hours to get there. Missed the rehearsal dinner, but it was alright on the end. The beach was amazing. I woke up around 7am the first day we were there because of the bright, and I mean bright sunshine out our window. I went out onto the patio and looked at the beach and there were already people on the beach. I came back in, like a little kid, and told Gregg to wake up- people were already on the beach. He humored me because he knows how much I love the beach and we went and started sunning around 7:30 in the morning.

Going to the beach at 7:30 am

The wedding itself was short and sweet- I wish them the best of luck and I am so grateful they gave us this experience.

At the wedding

We did get out and about on our last day there and visited a Fort from the 1600's it was really cool but a little hard on 32 week pregnant me. Lots of steep hills to walk, but I enjoyed it.

At the Fort

It did rain everyday but it didn't seem to bother anyone. They would just get under a big beach umbrella and wait it out- so we did the same. They say when in Rome...

Gregg played in the ocean like a kid and I enjoyed seeing him have fun. I did get in the water a few times but kept getting knocked down by the insane waves and decided I didn't want to give the other beach goers any more to laugh at. Let me tell ya, me at 32 weeks pregnant rolling around on 8 inches of water wasn't a pretty sight.
